Licensing requirements vary from one jurisdiction to another, and ours is a specialty trade that overlaps many. Fire alarm, security, electrical and standard business are all examples of the various licenses we are required to hold in the multiple locations we serve.

Take special care to ask any potential vendor about security licensing, and whether the company AND the representative you are considering, hold the proper licenses. Security licenses in most jurisdictions require criminal background screening, with the intent to ensure that those in the security profession, with potential access to your valuables and sensitive information, are on the up and up.
